Our story

Iain Stewart (Exergenics’ Co-Founder & CEO) began investigating commercial building air-conditioning energy efficiency in 2016 after identifying a significant efficiency gap in the operation of chilled water plant systems that led to an excess amount of energy consumption and carbon emissions.

This investigation culminated in the development of Exergenics’ novel optimization methodology for the chilled water plants, and subsequently, establishment in 2019.

Today, Exergenics is a diverse team of Engineers, Developers, and Data Scientists who share a passion for protecting the environment through the development of cutting edge technologies that enable building owners and operators to save energy, reduce carbon emissions, and enhance building sustainability and performance.
